It's been just over a year since I started to blog here. It has been an awesome year and blogging has made it so easy to create a platform for connecting. Blog number #1 Law Marketing & Management Systems did so well that I started to experiment with other blogs. Most recently, I added, Family Wealth Lawyers and MomsRules.
If you are asking yourself whether or not you should blog, read my blurb here. What can your blog do for you?
1. Your blog can create new market niches. You can experiment with a new niche by assessing if you can establish connections in that market niche. Your blog can also test different marketing ideas. You can just about test anything on your blog.
2. Your blog can help you build new relationships. Through this blog, I have connected to more than a dozen lawyers in other states who have been kind to send me referral after referral.
3. Your blog can be used as a way to keep in touch with new potential clients. Your blog updates can be sent to your prospects by your CRM program, keeping you connected to others on your list.
4. Your blog can help you make new friends.
5. Blogs by themselves don't equal new clients. Blogs are just another tool for you to get to know new people who will lead to relationships, who lead to new referrals. The investment you make in your blog is time. As with any other investment, it takes time for a blog to succeed and you must reinvest in it for it to grow.
